The goal of the framework

The Inclusive Intelligence model (iNQ) has been designed to offer training on essential skills that address the complexity of human lives in the dynamics of teams and groups in their specific contexts. In fact, these key competencies are seen as the way forward for successful organisational and societal transformation. For instance, inclusive intelligence makes it possible to include the potential of all, to ensure psychological safety and to work in a coherent way when we involve multiple stakeholders.

The Inclusive Intelligence model (iNQ) therefore supports the management of cognitive diversity as a source of excellence in all learning, teamwork, and collective action. It also considers the context of individuals and organisations to adapt training and measure its impact. Thus, it offers a contextual assessment to support institutions and organisations in choosing the relevant competencies people need to foster positive impact according to their roles and areas of responsibility.

The model is designed around 24 skills, combined within four categories that form a cycle:

Humility
  • Develop intellectual humility with a balanced positioning within the surrounding environment
  • Welcome others within teams with all their differences to help them reach their full potential
  • Establish equality relationships in a context of dialogue, teamwork, projects or partnerships
  • Establish team cohesion in a position of constant dialogue and detached from any power relationship
  • Foster continuous improvement at a collective level thanks to a nonthreatening awareness of fallibilities
  • Develop mental maps when experiences and feedbacks differ from current ways of thinking
Learning
  • Create inclusive learning spaces to ensure access and facilitate the acquisition of social competences
  • Include intercultural competence in learning processes, co-development and co-creation
  • Include cognitive diversity in problem-solving and decision-making
  • Lead and support inclusive teams in a context of continuous transformation by promoting psychological safety

Social Innovation

  • Identify social, educational and professional difficulties coming from diversity in order to respond to them in a targeted way
  • Master strategy and design thinking in the management of inclusion and social responsibility projects

Harmony
  • Assess an institution/organisation to enhance inclusion and social responsibility
